This installation was commissioned for an outdoor pool house patio. Using marine grade rope, the strands were tension twisted to the point of binding together to create organically clumping tendrils, and hung from a custom fabricated stainless steel overhead structure. Yellow, green, red, blue, turquoise, black, white, and orange rope strands create a vibrant gradient backdrop for this lush poolside oasis. Lightly swaying when breezy, this kinetic installation has a calming presence.
